Legal / Terms
The rules for using it.
Last updated 20 October 2026. These terms apply to this website and the RosterGuard app.
What RosterGuard is
RosterGuard is a free, independent guidance tool for easyJet BALPA UK pilots. It helps you review roster changes, keep a logbook, estimate pay and arrange duty-for-duty trades. It is a PWA that runs in your browser and can be added to your Home Screen.
Guidance, not authority
RosterGuard uses CSA24, the BALPA UK Pilots Scheduling Agreement, and related published material as its reference. It is still a guide. Agreements, pay figures, company procedures and rosters can be wrong, out of date or applied differently in your circumstances.
Verify anything that affects a refusal, a payment, a trade or a safety decision against your current roster, the current agreement, and advice from BALPA or the company. Your decisions remain yours.
No connection to easyJet or BALPA
RosterGuard is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by easyJet or BALPA. References to either name explain what the tool is for. They are not a claim of endorsement, and they do not give RosterGuard any authority to act for either organisation.
Your account
Access requires a verified @easyjet.com work email and a signed-in account. Keep your sign-in secure, use the account yourself, and do not share access. The app never asks for your easyJet password.
RosterGuard cannot write to eCrew or contact crew control. A decision recorded in the app — Accept, Refuse or Unsure — updates your own RosterGuard record only. You must still action it in the company system.
Free to use
RosterGuard is free. There is no paid tier, trial clock or advertising. “Free” does not mean your data is the price: RosterGuard does not sell it or share it with advertisers.
Acceptable use
- Use the app lawfully and only for its intended purpose.
- Do not attempt to disrupt it, bypass access controls, or extract other pilots' data.
- Do not scrape, copy or resell the service or its content without permission.
- Do not upload material you have no right to share.
Availability and changes
RosterGuard is a small independent project. Features, rules and availability may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. The app is provided “as is”, without a warranty of accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, RosterGuard and its maintainer are not liable for losses caused by relying on the app, including missed payments, refused or accepted duties, roster errors, lost data or missed connections. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Intellectual property
The RosterGuard name, design and original content belong to the project. Published agreement material, manuals, airline material and union material remain the property of their respective owners. RosterGuard does not grant you rights to that material beyond normal use of the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer protection rule in your home country says otherwise.
Questions
Use the feedback form in the app. It reaches the person who maintains RosterGuard, not an outsourced support queue.
